Start Preparing with ACT Now Tutoring
Your student’s time is valuable and I’m more interested in providing results than simply collecting a tutoring fee. Before we commit to any tutoring plans, making sure the journey together will be a good fit is important to ensure that your child and I that can improve academic success.
1) Free Introductory Call or Email
Before anyone commits to anything, let’s chat to discuss what is needed.
2) Free Low-Commitment Meet-and-Greet
I’ll meet with your child for 10-20 minutes on Zoom or in a library to discuss interests/learning styles/fear/strengths, etc.
3) Pre-Test
I’ll provide a small sample test packet that needs to be done on your student’s own time. I don’t want you to pay me for sitting around watching your child answer questions—our time together will be interactive.
4) Team Check-In & Next Steps
If your child isn’t interested or you don’t think it will work out, we’ll end things here. Additional references will be provided to match you with a tutor who can best help you child be successful.
However, if the parent, the child, and I all agree working together will be beneficial, then after a payment for a package of sessions, I’ll begin tutoring your student toward ACT success!
Don’t Overthink It
Our Approach
Most students can make notable improvements to their ACT scores with just a 8-12 hours of tutoring with an elite tutor. Our typical curriculum includes two 1-hour sessions in each English, science, reading and math for a total of 8 hours.
This leaves four 1-hour sessions for extra review of a particularly challenging section OR we can come back together after the results of testing day are posted to review challenging sections.
